NDTV MOVIES.com reported:

Observers of Bollywood movies in North America do concede that with simultaneous release in 85 theatres across 42 cities, it is one of the largest launches so far.

The largest so far has been 117 theatres for the Shah Rukh Khan's starrer Don last year.

Further, to attract the mainstream audience, the film would come with English sub-titles in all the screenings in North America.

Promoters of the film said that Saawariya is being released in more than a dozen theatres in the New York /New Jersey area - which has one of the highest concentrations of Indians in the US.
